This could be due to the hashtag needing to be clearer. It was a reference to a video game. However, it eventually became popular among people unaware of the game FFXIV. Some Twitter users confused “mount” as not something you can play with in a game; however, it was more like claiming one’s power as they shared pictures of themselves boasting about their Shiba Inu.
This is why the hashtag morphed into an energizing feed that included Megashiba pictures and authentic Shiba Inu whose owners were eager to share their pets with the world.
Although the hashtag was widely shared outside those in the FXIV group, the reason it started initially is that adorable dog mounts aren’t in great supply in FXIV. Various canine mounts are offered in the game; however, none compare to the adorableness of Megashiba. Megashiba.

Delubrum Reginae Raid, however, falls into the category of ferocious.
The Megashiba, however, is round and soft with shining eyes that exude adorableness. It is a unique animal with three actions you can perform when mounted, including barking, tail-wagging, and making sad faces; each one is packed with individuality.
The well-known Twitter account, Do You Pet the Dog, showcasing the animals of gaming, also posted a tweet about the Megashiba, which showed gamers can play with the pet. The tweet garnered a lot of retweets and could have contributed to spreading the word about the Megashiba even more.
